Eryl McCaffrey (she/her)

Teacher

Eryl (she/her) came to yoga when she was a teenager, in an effort to find relief from her anxiety and depression.

It helped her make peace with her body and mind in beautiful ways, and she’s passionate about sharing this practice with those who are on their own healing journey.

Eryl’s been teaching yoga for 10 years, having completed a 200hr yoga teacher training in 2014 and 100hr meditation teacher training in 2017.

Eryl is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and brings concepts and tools from psychology, neuroscience, and somatics into her yoga classes for mental-emotional resilience, mind-body awareness, and embodied joy.

Her classes are mindful, warm, grounding, and accessible for all bodies. Eryl’s a mental health advocate and speaker, who shares her experiences with sobriety and mental illness in an effort to chip away at the mental health and addiction stigmas that keep people suffering in silence.

Fun fact: Eryl is a trained journalist with a former life as a TV News Reporter. While she’s grateful for her time in the media, she doesn’t regret trading a mic for a yoga mat and a therapy chair. When she’s not “working,” you might find Eryl hiking, writing, singing, reading, or spending time with her family and friends.
